This upgrade kit replaces the stock woofer with our M165 Woofer so that the upgrade kit will be compatible with very version of the speaker, it also includes adapter rings and new backplates. The kit also comes with all new crossover parts, wire, solder, heat shrink, a set of tube connectors and an option for 2 sheets of the new NoRez “Two.”
Potentiometers will not be reused as they only degrade the quality of the signal.
Note about "Before" measurements: Every 626R model we've received has measured differently, so depending on which woofer your speaker came with and the settings of your tweeter/mid, the measurements of your speaker may very drastically. As sent to us, this speaker had the mid at +10dB, and tweeter at +15dB over the output of the woofer. We adjusted the volume pots until we got the smoothest response possible.
