The depth of sound field, width of sound field and the placement of instruments is superior to anything now in my home. Separation of instruments is better as well. The crossover upgrades made everything in the Aria, more Aria. The overall sound timbre and characteristic tilt that favors the upper mids and highs are still there, just more defined and detailed. The mids are slightly fuller and sound a touch warmer, and I think that’s due to a more detailed and open midrange. Paired with a Velodyne sub and a tube amp, and the sound is superb.
