I bought a pair of LGK 2.1 speakers for my desk in summer of 2024 and I have had them for about 6 months or so. I absolutely love these speakers. I have driven them with a few different amps including a Brooklyn Amp, a Schiit Rekkr, and now a custom built tube amp delivering 2W-3W of power. I have used a Mytek Brooklyn DAC and right now I am using a cheaper FiiO K11 R2R DAC. These speakers have plenty of bass for the desktop and midrange is sweet yet detailed. The vocals are very very good. The sound is practically holographic depending on the recording.
I am very happy. I ordered them prebuilt by Danny and his team. I bought some speaker cables for them and that has improved the sound, mainly clarity. They are one of the three speakers I have heard that brought me to tears at times. I don’t think I can give higher praise than that.
I want to try some NX Studios, but I just don’t think I can part with these LGK 2.1s.
Danny and the team were always quick to answer my questions and make recommendations.
