The-NX Bravo slides in just below the NX-Studio, offering excellent performance at a more affordable price. Featuring our GR Neo 3 in a new custom waveguide, and deep rear cup to seal the tweeter, allowing for a much lower crossover point. This model is also ported for bass extension down to 55Hz. (Bass can be extended to ~45Hz by keeping the ports long and using the speakers near the front wall)

Speaker placement, bass extension and port tuning:
This model can have it's low end tuned, depending on where you intend to place the speaker. (See page 2 of cabinet plans)
Near-Wall: For near-wall placement, (~1ft) keep the port long, this will improve bass extension (~40-45Hz) and reduce boominess for this application
Far-Wall: For those pulling the speakers out into the room, (3+ft) we recommend cutting the port down to 3.5inches long, this will limit the extension (~55Hz) but will boost the output of the port to match the output of the speaker, providing a more balanced response when pulled out from the walls.
