UberBUSS Power Filtration System
Price range: $1,595.00 through $2,014.00
These are now in stock and shipping as ordered.
The UberBUSS is a no-nonsense, high-performance power filtration unit designed to deliver a clean, neutral AC foundation for serious audio systems. Unlike many power products on the market, the UberBUSS uses filtration only — with no MOVs, surge suppressors, or devices that add noise, color the sound, or restrict current.
UberBUSS Power Filtration System
The UberBUSS is a no-nonsense, high-performance power filtration unit designed to deliver a clean, neutral AC foundation for serious audio systems. Unlike many power products on the market, the UberBUSS uses filtration only — with no MOVs, surge suppressors, or devices that add noise, color the sound, or restrict current.
Engineered for True Neutrality
At the heart of the UberBUSS is a three-stage filtration system:
Reactive Core Filter
Incoming AC noise is absorbed and de-correlated across all three legs — Hot, Neutral, and Ground — reducing high-frequency contamination before it reaches your components.
Power Factor Correction Network
A dedicated PFC section increases usable power under the curve, improving micro-dynamics, macro-dynamics, transient attack, and overall system responsiveness without limiting current.
After Filter Receptacle Stages
Each receptacle includes targeted filtering to keep noise generated by connected components from back-feeding into the main core, maintaining a stable, low-noise environment across the entire unit.
High Current Delivery — No Choke Points
The UberBUSS is current-limited only by the IEC inlet.
The main filtration core itself can support 40A continuously, and the design uses:
- No inductors anywhere in the signal path
- < 0.003 mH end-to-end inductance
- < 0.0035 Ω end-to-end resistance
This ensures your amplifiers and source components receive unrestricted current with no compression of dynamics.
Sonic Results
With noise floor performance better than –125 dB, the UberBUSS provides:
- A black, silent background
- Increased clarity and low-level detail
- Improved dynamic expression
- A naturally smooth, neutral presentation
The design philosophy is simple and consistent: first, do no harm.
Standard configuration includes:
- Furutech FI-06 NCF 15A IEC inlet
- Four cryogenically treated Pass & Seymour 5362A receptacles (eight high-current outlets total)
Pricing & Warranty
- $1,595 for the standard configuration
- Lifetime Warranty
- 30-Day 100% Money-Back Guarantee

4 reviews for UberBUSS Power Filtration System

I ordered and Ultra BUSS after watching Danny an Ron’s You Tube Videos and listening to the A-B comparison cuts. It arrived yesterday and I installed it today. Bottom Line Up Front: Good stuff. If you already have a good system and are looking for that next level, Buy one.
For the last several hours I’ve been listening to a bunch of my favorite cuts, ones that I know very well.
In my system at least it made a pretty noticable improvement. The biggest thing I noticed was a drop in the noise floor. This creates more space around / between the instruments and vocals. Everything took on more weight and solidity within the sound stage. I noticed that the back corners of the sound stage seem more filled out rather than tapering towards the rear. There is also an improvement in the ease of the music. Some of the tracks that bordered on being edgy, aren’t anymore.
That is not to say anything sounds dull or veiled at all. I can hear far more information coming through but there is just less grunge along with it.
A year ago I was in the power cables can’t make a difference. I was wrong, they definitely do. Adding the Ultra BUSS was another revelation. It is my first piece of power conditioning gear so I can’t make comparisons to others. All I can say is, in my system the Ultra BUSS made a noticable improvement.

Rich H. (I got one) 3/12/26 Here is my capsule review: Have had it for three weeks now. Plugged my front end components and my pre-amp into it. (power amp plugged into wall socket. I immediately heard the smoothing and softening that these things do. There was an opaqueness/haze to the overall sound. Not what I was looking for. I let it cook for 3 days and things clarified. The haze was gone and there was a nice see into clarity. The lower noise floor was apparent and dynamics were intact, possibly even better. I think this would be a worthwhile upgrade for someone with a good system and a noisy electrical environment. Buy it and try it. Recommended.

I bought my Uber BUSS from Dave Elledge in 2014; it is the only piece of gear that has not been upgraded. It will stay in place as finances allow me to swap out every other piece once again.
Everything Danny says is true. If anything, he understates what the Uber BUSS does. Noise: way down. Base slam: way up. When I unplugged my amp (PSA BHK 250) from it and fed it from the wall, it was unlistenable. I immediately plugged it right back into the Uber. Happiness restored.
Two secrets: The first, plug everything into it; it thrives when feeding power amps as well as the front end. Conditioners typically clean at the expense of dynamics. Not the Uber. Dynamics increase. In fact, every piece of gear benefits. So plug your all your gear, including amps and subs, into it.
Two, it has been the unsung hero of many award winning rooms at audio shows. I know for a fact that one gear producer uses Ubers in every room, unless an electronics manufacturer needs to showcase his own conditioner there. (It’s not my place to name names, but my source is well known and well regarded.)
No fuses; no maintenance; no downside; the Uber BUSS is a no-brainer must-have. -
This is my review of UberBUSS after having it listened for 20 days, over 50 hours.
I am getting more “Wow!” experience, after 30 hours break-in, each time I listened. Though, with Dennis’s and may be Ron’s video intros, we are sure this box is going to be a great addition to our system, but when I really hear it, I
still “Wow.” The taste of high-current-like smoothness is revolutionary. My setup is a ‘Mid-Fi’ combo through 10+ years with more weight leant on front end music sources:
(EverSolo T8 Streamer + Denafrips Pontus 15th DAC + Schiit Tube preamp + Luxman uX2 amp + Harbeth C7ES spearkrs.) And I do believe —- parts (purity and structure, not the physical) matter, because I can tell the difference when swapping cables, and tubes. Now, I find that power source matters as well, if not more crucial.Clearly, this UberBUSS brings my Hifi listening up to a solid level in ever aspects.
Mid-bass is evidently more quick and tight; Besides,
I hear more immense Low bass without suffering Hi notes extension;
The Tone remains clear, yet more intense; (Feels the warm tube glow more refine and textured.)
Dynamic swing is beautiful; (Now I can enjoy the orchestra pieces more.)
Sound Stage enclosure 40% wider; (But I don’t hear much difference on the depth.)
Greater part is, the “Natural” timbre of my old system, that I like, still shines through. Thanks Dave, and Dennis.
