Description
Before
After

Probably the most dramatic upgrade kit we’ve ever done, this kit includes all of the crossover parts, as well as four M-130 Woofers and four adapter rings to replace the stock woofers and take this speaker far beyond the limitations of it’s stock performance.
You also have the choice of using budget polycaps with bypass caps or full Sonicaps ($93) in the tweeter circuit.

A Transformative Upgrade — Exceptional Product and Outstanding Support
I recently completed the GR-Research upgrade on my Vienna Acoustics Mozart Grand speakers, and I want to express how impressed I am with both the quality of the kit and the support I received throughout the process.
Danny was consistently responsive every time I reached out with a question. Communication was clear, direct, and always helpful. This level of responsiveness made the entire experience smooth and confidence-inspiring.
The upgrade kit itself is extremely well organized. All components are precisely labeled, neatly packaged, and intuitively arranged. The documentation shows a deep understanding of loudspeaker behavior, crossover architecture, and proper signal-flow optimization. It is immediately clear that serious engineering went into this.
One important note: I was able to fit everything on the original crossover board without any difficulty. The new components, despite being higher quality and often physically larger, integrated cleanly into the existing layout. This speaks to how thoughtfully the kit is designed.
The build process was straightforward, the parts quality is top-tier, and the results, even before formal measurement, are already promising. I will soon publish a follow-up review after analyzing the speakers in my treated acoustic room using REW, including before/after data.
I am delighted with this upgrade and can confidently recommend GR-Research 100%. Excellent product, excellent support, and a clear path to improvement for anyone wanting more performance from their speakers.
Thank you, Danny — more feedback coming soon.
