The X-CS is the matching center channel to the X-LS Encore and X-MTM towers. This model uses a pair of the M-165 16 ohm woofers in parallel to bring the impedance to an easy to drive 8 ohm load. Sensitivity is 90db. This model uses a sealed box making it ideal for the center channel application. The X-CS Encore can also be used as left and right main speakers for some applications.
We recommend 1 sheet of NoRez for this model. (not included)

Another great speaker kit to match my X-LS Encores. As usual I did the fully upgraded kit using all the quality parts. This speaker is being used as my center channel and from the first moment I hooked it up there was a huge difference in sound. Highly recommend this kit. And if you are not a good wood worker the assembled cabinets are excellent.

This speaker is an excellent example of a quality product put out by a small business. The instructions were clear, YouTube videos are great. I enjoyed building this as my first DIY speaker and am in the process of finishing up some X-SLS Towers. I went with all the upgrades for this center. I will be buying/building the base model very soon to do my own comparison. Can’t wait to hear the results!
