Absolutely love these cables. Used Kimber prior to these and find the upgrades to these cables takes them up a notch. Easy assembly other then the time consuming process of stripping each wire. If I had one negative thing to say it would be the banana plugs provided I am not a fan of. They seem to not have a tight fit into my amp. I would for sure highly recommend these cables.

Great/fun DIY project I purchased about 2 years ago. Took a few hours to complete, threading the cotton rope through the cable was not as difficult as it seemed. Definitely better sound than my similarly priced Kimber cables (bright on top, lacks low end) and not far off from my copper foil cables. Highly recommended!

    Understand where this leads.
Several years ago now I had a good system with a great NAD 5-channel AV/Reciever fed from a Bluesound Node and feeding a pair of Paradigm Sudio 40s. It sounded nice. On a lark, I decided to upgrade from the 12 ga zip cord and bananna plugs running to the speakers and, knowing how to solder, decided to save a lot of bucks and order wire and a kit from here. WOW! Did the sound of my system improve – in particular, the spaciousness and detail of what I was hearing. I was literally blown away by the upgrade in my sound. Six or seven years later I now have an expensive Italian tube amp, an expensive streamer running to an external DAC and newer speakers – fed from those same cables. So, be forewarned: making speaker cables from this wire and one of the kits will dramaticcally improve your listening experience. Just be prepared for the road they will lead you down.

    Very Higly Recommended!
