These are the same woofers we use in the Desktop Mini speakers. The drivers are aluminum dome woofers which behave well without much work. They also sound very good compared to a lot of aluminum drivers which can have excessive ringing that sounds forward. The mini's on the other hand, sound very clean and clear and best of all, are very affordable!
